What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Lately, I have been doing calisthenics workout and mainly doing body weight exercises. Also, I’ve been getting field work in, mostly DB work with breaks and change of direction. My football team also holds zoom workouts to make sure we are staying in good shape.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel that my speed in and out of my breaks is the thing that I have most improved at and becoming a more explosive player.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I’m always trying to improve speed and explosiveness, which has a big impact on the game but not only that but also improve my man coverage and ball skills.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel that my team, the Archbishop Curley Friars, will be a top team in our division. I feel that we definitely will make a run for the championship game, which is always the goal.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“There are a lot of good teams on our schedule from last year, but I feel that Pallotti will be one of our toughest games. All of the other teams are not being overlooked because everyone is working and getting better every year.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“We have a lot of talented players we are facing off against this year and it would be hard to tell you one individual player.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I want to play sports in college and right now I don’t really have any specific colleges. My goal is to play division 1 football and get into a good academic program.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I am not being recruited by any colleges, but hopefully next year coaches will be reaching out and I will start to get recruited.”
Have you made any college trips yet
“I have not made any college trips yet.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan to make lots of college visits coming into this year after Covid-19 is settled out. This should help me get my name out and help my recruiting process.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“The camps that I was planning to attend are the Cornell camp, NC State camp, and Duke camp. Hopefully these won’t get canceled or delayed.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, my favorite was always Ohio State. I always like how their helmets had the stars on them and their football program has always been a good team.”
