Q&A with McDonogh defensive lineman Elijah Crawford
How did the high school football season go overall?
“It was a decent season for the most part, of course we didn’t reach our goal of a championship but we had a lot of great wins.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“This offseason for me personally I’m focusing on just getting bigger and stronger in the weight room and I’ve been working with Trench Combat Academy to really work on improving my technique as a d-lineman.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like us being a young team, we have a lot of potential and can do big things next year in the MIAA.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Spaulding is another team with a lot of guys and they’ll be coming in as the reigning champs and that comes with a certain confidence, so I think they’ll be a tough team to face.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“A guy that really just plays at an elite level is Malik Washington and he made some really good plays against us this year so I think he’ll be a tough guy to play next year.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“As of now I'm currently wrestling until I can hopefully make Teamstatic, a travel 7v7 team.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like next year is Parkdale’s "prove it" year.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The toughest competition on our schedule would most likely be the stacked Flowers team.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest individual player honestly would have to be Decarlos Young from Wise HS.”

Q&A with Perry Hall athlete Dallas Conway
How did the high school football season go overall?

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel as if me and my team will play like we’ve never played before since we all want to leave a mark for our senior year.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?

Q&A with St. Mary’s Ryken wide receiver Dom Dorwart
How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall the season did not go how my teammates, coaches, and I wanted it to happen but it is a learning experience! We’re back to the drawing board and on a steady path to next season.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I will be running track this year but I also will be participating in 7v7 with the best squad, Dogg Wrld. We also have off-season workouts for my school, which I definitely cannot miss. I will also be with my strength coach (Ryan Deal) and Coach Miles (WRU) to get stronger and get to that next level.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I have good feelings about what my team will do in the forthcoming season, we all felt the pain of last season. So we are getting back to the basics and working to make sure that does not happen again.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“We haven’t got our schedule yet, but speaking of last season our toughest team we played against was Carrol or PVI. Both games against PVI were nail biters and overtime, definitely one my team and I want back.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Like I said before we haven’t gotten our schedule yet but from last season, the Good Counsel running back room, those guys can run the ball for sure and they have us problems.”

Q&A with Brunswick quarterback Ethan Houck
How did the high school football season go overall?
“I believe this high school season went very well for not only me but my teammates and coaches as a whole. We made it to the state-semis and went through a lot of lessons together as a team.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I plan on continuing working out every week with QB Factory in Gambrills MD every Sunday to try to improve my game overall QB. I also plan on staying in the weight room to try to put on some more muscle and gain some more weight. I am currently 195 lbs.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like our team next year will have a great shot to go states. We have a ton of returners with great football IQ and talent. Next year’s team has played together our whole life and waited for this time to come.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Toughest team on our regular season schedule would probably be Walkersville. They are a well-coached team with a lot of great athletes.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Next year, I don’t believe an individual other than ourselves will be the toughest players to go against. We need to stay focused for the end goal and make sure we continue to work every day.”
