Catoctin 14-6 over Brunswick at the half. Game is on 930 WFMD. Catoctin has been stopped twice inside the Brunswick 10. Brunswick has had two long drives and scored on the second just before the half. Catoctin has a lot of penalties.
 
Brunswick just tied the game 21. This sounds like the game of the weekend

Not many games on, Listening back and forth of the Frankfort at Keyser and Brunswick at Fort Hill Games
and Watching on NFHS Maryland 1A East Region Game No. 5 Fallston (4-5, 3.67) at No. 4 Col. Richardson (5-4, 4.12)
it looks like two pee wee teams, the whole thing from the play, the officials and the announcers looks like a real shit show. smh

it was 21-0 after the first Quarter, Brunswick scores before half misses XP 21-6, to Start the 2nd Half Brunswick drives for the score and get the 2 pt conversion but then tries an onside kick FH now at Brunswick's 30 yard line

Fort Hills pass defense is not good. They have given Brunswick more than one opportunity due to penalties and stupid mistakes
 
Catoctin beat Brunswick at Brunswick 49-28...either Catoctin is WAY better than the posts have been saying, Brunswick is way better than anybody thinks, and their record of 4-5 is deceiving...or FH is just not nearly as good as everybody who thought they were going to blow out Allegany or Brunswick thinks.
It's obvious losing the defensive coordinator is bigger than those who thought it would just take some time for this inexperienced defense to catch up to the offense. They aren't catching up, their pass defense is not getting any better, the pass rush is almost non-existent...and if they do get to the qb they can't tackle him.
Moving King to qb has obviously affected his kicking, and deciding to kick fields goals instead of going for it on 4th and short is a weak call even if King was as dependable as he was last year.

I think you could argue one of the reasons the pass defense is bad is because the rush is pathetic.
Appel was bragging a couple weeks ago about how few penalties they have had....I hope he addresses it at the postgame show, would like to know why he thinks this is happening now.
 
Prior to Catoctin pulling away from Brunswick last week, it was 28 - 28.

FH is now up 35 - 21.

FH had a pass interference call, a roughing the kicker, and a fumble that kept Brunswick as close as they currently are.

One starter in the secondary didn’t play tonight due to an injury during Homecoming.

Then again, give it to the Railroaders. I believe they had the ball consistently for about ten minutes at the end of the first half into the first 7+ minutes of the third quarter.

I will still take FH over Catoctin.

Oh...King just had an interception.

Who is you guys? I hope you don't mean ALL fh people because I'm not one of them. As a matter of fact when I mentioned fh hadn't played a road playoff game the last 6 years the response I got was "FH will put a running clock on Catoctin by halftime"...and that in itself shows a lot of confidence in a team that honestly has not looked like any FH team from the past 6 years.

Catoctin has to get there too. Just ask River Hill.

As I posted way above, Brunswick gave Catoctin everything they wanted last week. The only reason tonight's game was close was the bogus interference call and the running into the kicker. Not to mention the ridiculous horse collar called when it was clear it was the runner's sleeve that was pulled.
