it is probably reasonable to believe that this hurricane heading towards FL could end some high school football teams' seasons or postpone them for weeks. It looks like the entire state except the far western part of the panhandle will be impacted. Football games and travel will be the least important thing on peoples' agendas after this beast hits.

praying for all of those in Texas and now Florida. This thing is going to put a hurting on the state of Florida. LWG is correct, I wouldn't be surprised to see many teams down there not finish their season after this storm.

I don't know... this has all the makings of mini documentary showing how "our (Florida) community didn't let a little thing like a hurricane get in the way of Friday night lights, and athletes chasing their dreams". At least a segment on 60 minutes.
