I know that Keyser informed the other member schools of it's intentions to leave the conference at the conclusion of last year's sports season but did leave the possibility of staying if certain conditions were meet. Does anyone know if they were meet or did they leave as well?

If they did leave, which I imagine they did since Frankfort and Hampshire left for the same reasons when their condidioons weren't meet, what is the fate of the league? It is now down to just the 3 Allegany County and 2 Garrett County schools. Have their been any discussions on other schools joining the league or are they just going to keep it at the 5.

And yes I do realize this is a football board and the AMAC is not a football conference before anyone says that.

The AMAC currently consists of:
Allegany
Bishop Walsh
Fort Hill
Frankfort
Hampshire
Keyser
Mt. Ridge
Northern
Southern

Hampshire and Frankfort are back in starting this fall and Keyser stayed when they rejoined

I could be wrong on this but I don't believe that Fort Hill is playing Frankfort in any sport this year.

I am assuming since Keyser stayed and Frankfort and Hampshire rejoined that the WV schools conditions we're met?

I stand corrected on the JV game with Frankfort. This will be the first meeting between the two JV teams in years. I also noticed that the freshman teams have only played once since 2009. Maybe there's a light at the end of the tunnel here. Or maybe Fort Hill wanted to fill an open date for their JV team.

What other sports are they playing?

Regardless of why they are playing, the crux of the discussion is...they're playing. That's in direct contrast to the last few years of blackballing. It makes no sense whatsoever for them not to play in all the other sports.

Basically all sports but Varsity Football. The conditions were one game in basketball and baseball in stead of two. One game allows the WV schools to play teams in their (state) region instead of primarily AMAC teams.
