I know that Southern football is very bad right now, but help is on the way. Their D1 Youth program just won the league's Championship yesterday beating the Patriots (for the second time this year) While I hate that the Pats. lost, it is good to know that Southern will be getting some athletes in the next few years that will help revive their program. Congrats to the D1 Rams!

Their D1 mighta beat Southern lol... Seriously though im glad they have some players coming although everything changes in High School...
Tks for the congrats! We are working hard to get SHS back to where it used to be and we do have some players in the pipeline. As the far as the game on Sunday, those teams are so evenly matched, that if they played 10 times each one would probably five a piece!
Southern has come a long way, this upcoming year will be a pivotal one for sure.
Looking back on this and remembering. It's hard to believe how close Southern was to not having football anymore. Coach Nazelrod and others have done a great job of getting the numbers back up to a point where they are once again significant in the local football scene. Regardless of the outcome of this season, we can be thankful that this once proud program has returned and seems viable for years to come.
Good to see Southern get things turned around up there. Always a great rivalry game with the Rams. A lot of good players in their program over the years.
