This week marks my 20th year of being a registered Heisman Trophy voter. There are currently 928 voters on the panel. I am not permitted under rule to publish my vote, but these are the favorites according to the oddsmakers.

1. Travis Hunter - Colorado (WR/DB)
2. Ashton Jeanty - Boise State (RB)
3. Dillon Gabriel - Oregon (QB)
4. Shedeur Sanders - Colorado (QB)
5. Cameron Ward - Miami FL (QB)
6. Jalen Milroe - Alabama (QB)

I’d go Gabriel. Only undefeated in the college game currently. His numbers aren’t chopped liver either.

Hunter doesn't just play both ways, he impacts the game from both sides of the ball. He would get my vote.

Travis Hunter is the Heisman Winner, he is a player great athlete. Shedeur Sanders pads his stats in blow outs I think

They were blowing out 3 win OK State by 50 and chucked it up to him in the end zone in the 4th quarter. They deliberately pad his stats on offense whenever they get the chance to. That isn’t up for debate.

This should be Jeanty’s award. He’s dominated all season, including against the current #1, and Boise is going to probably be playing playoff football because of it. I respect what Travis Hunter does immensely but he’s essentially probably getting this award because of his snap count. He hasn’t had a particularly special season statistically compared to the other top guys in the country at WR/DB.

Jeanty should win it but Hunter will win it. Colorado and the media have been campaigning for Hunter for the past 2 months.
