I hope you sensed the sarcasm in my comment. I was the one on the board saying a charter school in DC wasn't gonna fall off much after graduating a good portion of their team.
Maybe not from you, but I can see posters like Boyz composing rough drafts of how he can explain how Dematha sucks now becuase FCA is challenging them and maybe going to beat them since FCA is on FH's schedule.
Good deal just checking. I'm sure there will be some talk from people all over MD about Dematha playing bad or being down, the same Dematha who gave the defending National champs a run for their money. But then Gorman lost twice this year also so they must suck too. I know it's all about matchups and who comes to show up that night, but denying the talent on both teams just Isn't in the cards. FCA is a very good team, plain and simple.
Lol Dematha is up 41 - 18 lol took out the JV, played a couple starters in 3rd qtr. Dematha knew it wouldn't be a challenge. Why blow them out have class let everyone play.

Like I previously stated on another post, a lot of teams are going to look bad against Dematha. The 2nd half shows as such. Means nothing
Final was 42 - 18. Dematha ran all over them in the second half. Seriously Friendship could not stop the run. I don't think Friendship can match-up against FH. They won't have a clue against the wing-t. FH will put a lot of points on the board.
FH will put a lot of points on the board against Melbourne, the difference is Melbourne will score against FH. I see the FH Melbourne game both teams scoring at least in the forties. Both teams may score 50 points.

I was at this game. Friendship definitely has speed and athleticism at the skill positions, they surprised DeMatha in the first half, even the DM coaches admitted that after the game. DM was actually lucky because they scored on a fluke play, they could have easily been down 2 scores at the half. But as I have said, overall Friendship is a 1A (skill/talent) level squad. They don't have a huge line. DeMatha threw the ball all over the place in the first half, but in the second half they only threw the ball twice. If they had come out running the ball like that the score would have been 60 - 6. Friendship is about to drop a few more games and they will have a losing record when they play FH. As I have also said, Friendship is a year away from being able to compete with FH. I agree with cumbfanatic, Friendship won't be able to match up against the wing-t.
Like I said before kind of hard to tell how good or bad a team is when you play a team like DeMatha, because they're just so good. They would make most programs look bad...
