Is the Train Horn mobile, if so, lets take it to Brunswick and make the Railroaders feel like we're doing them some kind of a solid.

We're going to need something in the way of goodwill to offer up as I suspect we'll score 60 plus points to open the season.

I've been toying all summer about going to this "game", which is only 20 min from me, but I can't convince myself to make the drive across the bridge. Dave Christopher may be the only FH there...

They ain't what they used to be!

Just think, Fort Hill's last playoff loss came at the hands of the Railroaders...46-42 in 2012! Seems forever-ago!

1st game I'm sure there will be a ton of FH fans in attendance. Some might think Brunswick is still at the same level they were 4 years ago.

Hey FH , whats going on ready to come to Brunswick. Just like to say have a safe trip down. Just wish we had the team of old,,lot of 10th and 11th graders on the team. Give us 2 years we should be ok. Pat Foster came back to take over the offense

Fort Hill won 49-27 in 2011.

MPSSAA Records...

• Most Passes Attempted, Game 65 ....Brunswick (Fort Hill) 2011

• Most Passes Completed, Game 42 ....Brunswick (Fort Hill) 2011

Brunswick actually was the last team to beat Fort Hill in the playoffs correct? 2012. Coach Appel will have a heart, honestly, I'm sure he's just so happy to get a game, we're all very appreciate to have Brunswick on the schedule. Fort Hill is just absolutely loaded for Bear, so despite not trying to, it might be hard to not rack up a ton of points.

I love my Railroaders, and I do have pride. But this one will be ugly fast. No way we can stop the FH offense. Not even a chance. Will be hard enough to stop FH back ups. We might be able to move the ball a little with the passing game but don't think we could score. I like that Foster has come back to take over the offense. Give us 2 years and I think we will be pretty good then. Great group of young guys. Just hope they don't get their heads down.

Hats off to you guys for even adding us to the schedule. At least one team out of the West region from the Frederick/Hagerstown area aren't Chicken S--t! to play us. Maybe Boonsboro should take note instead of running there chops and put there big pants on and do the same.

Yeah we owe Boonsboro. They were still passing on us and running the hurry up offense with a 56 pt lead last year with 2min to go. We will get them back one day...take that to the bank. Yeah, we play a pretty tough schedule this year. It is brutal. We have FH, Allegany, Northern, Middletown, Walkersville and Boonsboro. We play the best 1a teams in the state with FH and Allegany. We understand that FH will score a lot of points and that will partially be our fault because we will not be able to stop the second team. But what I know of Coach Apple, I don't think he will be passing with a 50 point lead. I have to say, I have a lot of respect for Allegany last year. They called off their dogs in the second quarter and put their back-ups in. I was so sad to see their place kicker get hurt on a kick-off. I think that hurt them when they played you guys at the end of the season. Not that I think it would have made a difference. I think FH was the better team.

i agree, great post!! That is a heck of a schedule. Wish u guys good luck. I just joined the board, but been reading the posts on and off. I just like postive posts, not the negative bull crap on whos schedule is better, whos is weak, whos cream puffing there schedule to make the run in the playoffs. And back to ur schedule, word is walkersville is the team in 2a west this year, not middletown?

Yes Walkersville is the real deal. They will be very strong. I just got back from the Brunswick/Southern scrimmage. Not many scores. They played like a real game the first half, and the JV's played the 3rd and 4th qt. Brunswick moved the ball through the air on their first possession and scored a touch down. Then a lot of turnovers by both teams. Then Southern scored late in the second quarter. The final outcome from the first half of the varsity scrimmage was 7-6 Southern. Brunswick missed several scoring opportunities on over-thrown passes with receivers wide open.
