Nobody said that's why FH does 7on7. But your a fool if you don't believe 7on7 helps for recruiting.

Those were some impressive wins by FH. Briar Woods has been a big school power in VA for years and obviously GC is GC.

How many linemen have been recruited from 7 on 7s? If you really want to get recruited, a camping you must go! 7 on 7s will allow a kid to be an athlete, but it doesn't show toughness, footwork for the QB, or football speed. I'd even question if you can tell if a kid is even coachable in 7 on 7 play.

Camps,7on7 and games is what gets you recruited. One could excel in the camp drills but not game situation. Then flip it one could bomb in the camps and kick butt in games.
With all of that your grades and being coachable will go a long way with recruiters. Colleges will add size to any player, they will work on your foot work and technique.

you almost got it. Coaches will add strength and weight, you can't turn a 5'11" kid into a 6'5" tackle. In the 7 on 7s, the kid is working for his high school coaches. At camps, they work with college coaches, that's where the bonding starts.
