Does Cumberland still have a semi-pro team??? Cougars or Stags???

A couple yrs. ago I would take my son up to Greenway to catch a game or two.... I was just wondering if they still have a team?? I dont know why they call it Semi-Pro LOL more like D3 but I still enjoyed watching it...

Their Facebook page hasn't been updated since July 2016. I'd say no, because their season would be in full swing by now.

They were gonna give it a go this year as the Tri-State Miners.
That Facebook page has also gone quiet after tryouts earlier this year.

I think they actually do. But, they have have to play their games on the road (like in the Pittsburg area). The Cumberland rumor mill says that they owe both Greenway Ave stadium and Westmar lots of $$$$$$ to cover the electric bills they have accrued.

went last year to watch one of them at Westmar and it was the biggest joke ever.... it was really sad to watch.
