CAYFL begins practice, Pee Wee games start next Saturday locally

The Cumberland Area Youth Football League (CAYFL) had a meeting last week and took a re-vote as to whether they play a football season this year. After voting to cancel the season just 3 weeks ago, the vote went 5-2 in favor of playing. Practice will start September 14.

There will be six teams this year. The Braddock Warriors have elected not to field a football team.
Northern
Southern
Patriots
Keyser
Frankfort
Frostburg

The pee wee league starts playing games next Saturday. There are currently 4 teams playing.

I'm glad the CAYFL has made this move. I work with many of the kids on one of these teams and they are ready to start moving back into a normal life.
