An undefeated 9-0 versus 9-0 Homecoming is coming, with an 11-0 versus 10-1 State Championship Game two weeks after that. Games 13 and 14 are just for fun.

I couldn't agree more. Homecoming and the rematch 9 times out of 10 are the title games. I know its been beatin to death but the playoffs need to change. Its not a fair system. There will be 4-5 1A teams entering the playoffs with 4-6 maybe 5-5 record. Its not right for Allegany, Fort Hill and Norther to knock each other out in the 1st rounds every year.

The state will never go away from the region format because they want the state represented. But why couldn't we take the 4 region winners. They are seeded 1-4, then 5-16 is makes up the rest of the 16 no matter where there from in the state. Now you have a representative from all 4 corners and the 16 best teams
