it's a good thing and you're right that it's Coaching and Tradition.
FH has always had kids come out that will get in 1 or 2 games per season for just a few plays just to say they were apart of the team, that is something I never understood.

Coaching and tradition are important. But not near as much as the kids who put in the work....Without the kids/players having a strong work ethic...it can lead to quite a disaster.

There wouldn’t be the kids without the coaches that’s the whole point!! When Chaney coached fort hill the joke around school was that twice as many athletic kids weren’t even untrusted in playing.
Allegany has more students and fields a team of 20 players.
