"some coach said one time offense wins games, defense win championships", not taking anything away from the Sentinel offense, they deserve all the credit given to them, however you don't see to many stats in the paper under the "defense" category. Rushing, passing, receiving, scoring, total yardage, etc, all under "O". Well here's to the young men on the other side of the ball, they say Big Red is deep on the offensive side? Let us count the numbers on the "D" side; #21,#63,#13,#23,#4,#9,#76,#64,#54,#31,#5,#1,#2,#10,#20,#50,#3, not to mention all the other young lions on the sidelines just waiting patiently for their turn. Let's remember without them 2's and 3's the 1's wouldn't be who they are. Haven't been keeping track of td's scored on the Big Red "DeMachine", whether it be 1's, 2's, or 3's , but I don't believe it's been that many. Anyway if you have the chance to shake one of these players hands, do so, they deserve it! As well as the rest of the team, including coaches, Big Red Band Members!,cheerleaders, and parents as well! God Bless You All!!!
