I know FH fans have gotten spoiled the past 4 or 5 years with a plethora of big plays from some very talented backs.

What's the chance of carrying on this on to this coming season? Any new names expected to stand out this year?

What's the chance we are going to be seeing FH struggling to even get 1st downs?

I see this schedule for this year, and it seems like someone knows something I don't.

One thing is certain, this is easily one of the biggest offensive lines I've ever seen at FH. Guys go 6'7 and 6'5 and 6'3 and 6'2 across the board. The biggest reconstruction will be the secondary. Thank goodness for summer 7 on 7. They will need the exTra work.

The QB will be a key player to replace. I have high hopes that #5 will be surging this season. I foresee FH 7-2 at worst and 8-1 is likely. Going undefeated may be a tall order, but Appel & Co. specialize in tall orders here of late.

Because of their elite talent and speed, sure everyone is going to give pause a little when imagining a post Ty, post Brayden Fort Hill, both are special players and even better individuals. Personally, however, I'm excited to see this 2017 team, they've got a great nucleus coming back and what excites me the most is the thought of who the next bunch of stars will be. Who steps up? What youngster from the JV or Freshman squad has bought into the program and turned himself into the next big thing. Fort Hill is a Program in the fullest sense, I've got faith in the proven guys that return and I've got faith that there are guys coming up through the Pipeline that will emerge as well. With the tough schedule, and having to fill a few key holes, I think people just need to prepared for a different kind of year at Fort Hill this year and that's exciting and intriguing. 14-0 or 13-0 State Champs, maybe, I mean I wouldn't want to bet against this Program right now. But I think people need to be willing to understand that this year may be atypical of the norm, you could have an 11-3 team, or 12-2, or 10-4, all state champs. You know how this coaching staff works, they get better each week, Fort Hill week 1, while always as prepared if not moreso than anybody, is never anywhere near Fort Hill week 3, week 8, week 14. That being said, maybe they get an early loss until things are fully clicking, or maybe they drop 2 straight to Melbourne and Friendship, or split those games, we don't know at this point. In the end, I think Fort Hill wins another state title, but I'm prepared and I hope others are prepared to see that the path may be not quite as linear this year, there are stiff challenges and unanswered questions. I think it's going to be one hell of a ride but again I have faith in the best coaching staff in Maryland and the Program. Buckle up.

Not seeing those size kids on last years roster. Are they coming from last years JV team?

Their growing kids you feed them they grow, I think fort hill might actually get some love from maxpreps, depending on say an undefeated season and a friendship win over the stags would get fh round top 200.. Thatsa big move from 880.. We need these good teams in oct because after we sweep alco I look at it like champs. 5 good teams in 14 games would make us a known power house in the mid Atlantic. Play a northern type in the west, so that if we take an L palying other powerhouses we can stay on playoff track
