There. Thought I would give some of you Alco posters a chance to discuss something other than Fort Hill football. Talk about the titles from the 70s or 80s or whatever. Fifty cents goes to each poster than can post without mentioning or referring to Fort Hill. Lag is the only one that's good at it.

Funny that only a few want to talk about football in general and the rest harp on the same stuff over and over about FH. Allegany isn't having a bad year but not many are talking about Blue from the Blue side. They just can't stop seeing Red. With the exception of you. Who manages to find the good in most of what we talk about either Blue or Red.
Alco football is having a good season. They don't have a powerhouse team like Fort Hill but maybe a year from it. I think this years homecoming game won't be a blow out. Probably be close till after halftime. I think next year maybe the year of the Camper!
Can you go one post without FH is greatest ever and Alco worst ever???
P.S You keep saying Alco lives in past in the 70s and 80s but you still dont understand since the year 2000-2014 Alco still accomplished more than your FH by winning 2 titles... I know now you wanna talk about the 90s and say we got 1 in 97 ok so what Alco also got 1 in the 90s.. BUT BUT we win Homecoming all the time lol.. The only time Alco fans really mention FH on here in a negative way is when replying to your stupid Anti-Alco posts and rants...
I'm not a Preaskorn advocate, but from what I've seen over the past few years, Allegany is sending the same amount of kids to college on scholarships as "other area schools", lol
I'm not close enough to the program to say if he's actually doing anything proactively to get his players recruited or not. There's one member of this board that had to invest their own time and resources to get their kid a scholarship because they didn't feel Allegany was doing enough.

In my experience with my son, when it comes to getting recruited, one guy can take the credit. If anyone wants to play at the next level, DI, II, or III, they need to contact Todd Helmick. Todd has been responsible for probably 90% of all the kids getting recruited for football in the area, it doesn't matter what school you're from. I don't think that he has ever turned down anyone who has asked for help.
If you go to him, just remember a few things; he has a full time job so he is sometimes hard to reach, do what he tells you to do, don't wait until your senior year, start early. College football at any level is a business, and Todd knows the ins and outs.

Your kid got something so now it's okay to hand out a little praise. How about Jack Gilmore? How about all the young men he coached and gave an opportunity to in life. How about we investigate every athlete Todd ever helped and find out if they are perfect citizens or not? Oh, that's right - Todd is a FH grad. We only do that to smear someone from Allegany.

Believe me. this issue isn't going away. I am just a single Allegany person who has supported everything Cumberland - including FH. But if classy folks from Allegany can't come in here without being disrespected, that changes everything. Yeah, this has gotten completely out of hand. The Gilmore's were NEVER attacked, spin it how you like. The only person "attacked" was a career criminal and all Bleedred did was make a joke about it. You are the one hat took it from there and tried to turn it into an attack on the Gilmore's. If I remember correctly, Bleedred even lauded praise on Coach Gimore and made some reference and made a comment saying that it appeared the apple didn't fall far from the tree with his son. You are the one that ruined that thread with baseless accusations towards Bleedred.
As for running an Allegany radio station out of this message board, hogwash. Yes, the young Mr. Gilmore did initially come to this message board and post about the top 50 list. He then forgot about it or was too busy or just didn't worry with it enough to ever come back and repost the list as they counted it down. It wasn't until another poster posted another thread wondering whatever happened to the list that he came back on and reposted it.......so don't try to make it seem like the Allegany Radio Station had made their presence known and the Big Bad Fort Hill fans chased them away. Pathetic, you don't have enough good things to say about your alma mater, which you had all but seemingly abandoned until a few weeks ago so you resort to perpetuating drama. As the dude on TV says "C'mon Man."

Your personal decision to make an Allegany radio event a personal attack against Jack Gilmore ruined it. You were asked to stop and you didn't. I backed off my comments and you started up again - even in a follow up radio post you were asked to stop... you still didn't.
With no proper connection to the radio event, bleedred posted that Jack should be judged - not by football - but by the character of the players he coached. He also stated that Jack was kicked out of his "HC" (coaching) job by the Camper Club. And, he kept at it and at it - even to the level of the 'Hernandez' reference - calling Jack Gilmore "shallow." None of that was about Shannon - it was about an attack on the character of Jack Gilmore. So stop lying about it. It was about an assault on the Gilmores and an Allegany radio station.
None of the attacks were proper and had anything to do with the Gilmores' association with the radio station and the nice event they were trying to do. All of this was something being done to Allegany folks that never would have been done to FH family royalty or a station trying to run a FH promotion.
As for you Polk, you just had to jump in and figure you could bump your street cred by going after me. I guess you found out that you might be a literary giant at the local watering hole but not much else.
Oh, incidentally there Polky, I can see why you are over in this '1200 view' thread trying to get some face time since your Paw Paw poodle is sinking fast. Perhaps you should try to crank up another of your '100 view' masterpieces before the last one sinks into oblivion. Maybe a couple references to Dublin will get folks to think it's Joycean.

I know Matt Gilmore personally, and he and I have crossed paths in different capacities and I will be working along side him at Homecoming this weekend. He knows me on here, and he has discussed some of the silliness from this site with me before. Matt and I are fine, and you really have no idea as to anything in that regards.
I have nothing to apologize to him for (as I never said a word about this list in any way) and frankly, I could bust his balls in person and we would laugh about it. That's how real people interact.
