Just have to add a little thread. I have close ties around the M’burg , Hedgesville area and people are pumped about the ville/FH football series renewed. What I gathered that makes it even more epic is its there Homecoming game. The whole town has this date marked on there calendar. Being around some friends from Hedgesville and Martinsburg talking about this game, everyone was like bring back the CVAL. Everyone couldnt wait for a Fort Hill/ Martinsburg Game, Or a Allegany/ Jefferson Game. The CVAL games were always games we looked forwarded to. Games were only hour 1/2 away, and always had great followings. Sorry I’m not a writer, but just trying to add a little of what me and some friends were talking about down the road. Me myself cant wait to go back to Hedgesville and renew some awesome CVAL Football . Kudos for whom got this matchup again. Hoping next year ,might see another old CVAL foe added.

I think that it is a good measuring stick for Hedgesville. They have really turned around the program and I know they have hopes of competing with Martinsburg. Having games against Fort Hill and competition similar to Fort Hill will help them with that goal. Not to mention it is a great local game for both schools.

That's great to hear. I gotta say though that Hedgesville must fear no one. The fact they are playing Martinsburg and Fort Hill back to back is one thing, but throw in the same streatch
