Fort Hill to forfeit all six victories?

Actually they did FH a favor getting on top of this now. If it had lingered or been swept under the rug, good chance FH might have had to forfeit playoff wins once it came to light. Best to come clean, no matter whose fault it is, take your lumps, then go on and win a state title on the road. It's 1A. FH will roll through it like Patton through western Europe no matter where the games are played.

IF

I don't believe that the kid got any playing time the first couple of games, but it really doesn't matter too much. My understanding is that he had a Maryland address. Anyway, Fort Hill will beat everyone in the West, it doesn't matter where they play.

I'm hearing that the Frankfort coach made the complaint. He was mad that the young man wouldn't play for him. I think that I'll be calling WV about the FH kid who lives on Mexico Farms Road who is playing for Frankfort. Give him a taste of his own medicine.
It 100% didnt come from Frankfort. They dont care.

Think much closer.

Fort Hill to forfeit all six victories?

November 1st, 2024 by WCBC Radio

WCBC News has that Fort Hill High School may be having to forfeit several games from their current football season due to an ineligible player. The Allegany County school system received an anonymous call on Thursday that a Fort Hill player did not live in the state of Maryland. Investigation uncovered that the parents of the student had provided false address information and admitted to living in another state. The school board has immediately begun an appeals process to the MPSSAA. School Board President Bob Farrell spoke with WCBC, saying he is not aware of the student's name and that they hope to hear back on the appeal Monday.
Bob Farrell is so full of shit. He's claiming publicly to those around him that he personally went to the address to check. Now, if he would've said I can't discuss the kid due to privacy, that would be different. Also, the MPSSAA isn't going to force a forfeit on these games, the local board is enforcing that. Why are they making it sound like the BOE is leading the charge for an appeal?

Sounds to me like the BOE, i.e. Bob himself, messed up and let an out-of-district player play without due diligence to follow up on the paperwork. This is a cover your ass, dont let the BOE look bad kind of situation. And ends up making FH look bad as if they knew what was going on and were hiding it. If a kid is cleared to play through the BOE, thats on the board. What a fustercluck.

Alco/FH

We will see tomorrow. I think if Alco plays a good game they will be down by 14 at the half

I applaud your optimism. Hansel has shown us who he is and against quality teams it's not much. They win the games they should for the most part but that shouldn't be the bar for Alco. I hope it isn't a blowout, competition makes everybody better.
