I have confirmed with the head coach at Hancock that they are opting out of the playoffs.

With a win tonight Mountain Ridge gets a guaranteed first round bye. They are beating Keyser 42-3 at the half.

If Fort Hill wins Homecoming it will be back-to-back games with Alco six days apart.

I will agree to disagree with you Tony. The young man was recruited but did not go. Other players were enticed by FH faithful from not only our school but others. AA football in WV is not weak. Fairmont Senior, Bridgeport, Bluefield are all programs comparable to FH. I’m never going to tell you FH is not a great program they are. But some of what you are saying is not factual but rather your opinion.

I’m out after this post so let’s leave it at this. I wish FH all the best and hope they grab another state title. I also hope we can make a run this year. All in all it would be great for area football.
